Breaking: Uba Sani’s Gender-Responsive Procurement Policy, a Masterstroke, Says Associate
Malam Aminu Zaria, a close associate of Governor Uba Sani, has hailed the signing of the Gender Responsive Procurement Policy as a “groundbreaking move” that will revolutionize women’s economic empowerment in Kaduna State.
Answering questions from newsmen at the weekend, Zaria described the policy as a “masterstroke” that demonstrates Governor Sani’s commitment to inclusivity and gender equality.
“This policy, which I have not heard of anywhere in Nigeria, is a game-changer for women in Kaduna State. It’s a bold step towards bridging the economic gap between men and women, and empowering women to contribute meaningfully to the state’s growth and development,” he said.
Zaria praised Governor Sani for his visionary leadership, saying that the policy aligns with the state’s medium-term development plan and sets a new standard for women’s empowerment in Kaduna State.
“This policy is yet another sign of determination of the governor to ensure gender equality and inclusivity. It’s a collaborative ecosystem that will provide expanded opportunities for women in Kaduna State,” he added.
He urged women-owned and women-led businesses to take advantage of the policy, saying that it’s a “golden opportunity” to access government contracts and contribute to the state’s economic growth.
“I cannot but strongly commend Governor Sani for this bold initiative and assure him of our support in ensuring the successful implementation of this policy,” Zaria said.
