Chikwe on behalf of Imo State NRM felicitates Chinedu Obi on his election as NRM Acting National Chairman.

On behalf of the leadership and the entire members of Imo State National Rescue Movement (NRM), Hon. Chikwe Nwachukwu (JP), the NRM Imo State Chairman heartily felicitates Dr. Chinedu Obi (Ohamadike) on his well deserved election as the Acting National Chairman of NRM. We also in extension express our heartfelt congratulations to all elected national officers on acting level to fill the vacuum created as the result of those we lost to the cold hands of death.

“The party leadership has taken the best decision that will move our great party to the next level; following the suspension of our estranged son, Mr. Isaac Udeh, the former National Chairman due to different acts of illegalities including, but not limited to single handedly calling for an Emergency National Convention (without the consent of any member of the party leadership), and contrary to the constitution of the party.

“As if that was not bad enough, he went ahead to claim to have stepped down and that he had handed over the position of the National Chairman of the party to one Edozie Njoku who is not even a legitimate member of our party, but had earlier attempted to highjack the leadership of APGA, before the Supreme Court in a landslide judgment restrained him,…only for him to now attempt to highjack the NRM leadership through the backdoor.

“What else can we do than to suspend such person like Udeh and elect a known technocrat to pilot the affairs of our party as we march towards the next elections?

“The entire members of Imo State NRM hereby assures the leadership of our party to count on Imo State as one of the states where the party will grab elective positions in the next elections. This we solemnly affirm,” he asserts.
